Perdana University’s APEL.A programme is the official pathway for working Malaysians to earn a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree — based on what you’ve already built in your career.
WHAT IS APEL.A?
“A” refers to “Access”. APEL.A offers unique access to earning your Bachelor’s (APEL T-6) or Master’s (APEL T-7) degree based on your relevant working experience and formal education.
It welcomes all Malaysians who excel in their careers but lack minimum academic qualifications to pursue higher degrees at tertiary institutions.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree (APEL T-6)
- Malaysian citizen, aged 21 and above
- Relevant work experience
Master's Degree (APEL T-7)
- Malaysian citizen, aged 30 and above
- Minimum STPM / Diploma or equivalent
- Relevant work experience
How to Apply?
Step 1 — Apply
Register at the MQA portal at https://www2.mqa.gov.my/APEL/ and choose APEL.A.
Select Perdana University as your APEL Centre, then complete your application at our portal.
Step 3 — Submit Your Portfolio
Compile evidence of your work experience — appointment letters, employer testimonials, completed projects. Let your career speak for itself.
Step 2 — Aptitude Test
Sit a short online test from home. You can resit up to two times if needed.
Step 4 — Enrol
Pass your assessment, receive your certificate, and enrol in your chosen programme at Perdana University.
