Applicant Journey for International Students
Admission Procedure
The admission process follows three primary steps:
Step 1: Student's Eligibility Letter
Initial Document Submission
To check your eligibility, please submit the following:
- Academic Transcripts
- IELTS results or a Medium of Instruction Letter
- Passport Details Page & Photo
- For Postgraduate applicants: Please also include a Research Proposal and your CV/Resume.
Eligibility Confirmation
Undergraduate: A counsellor will assist you directly in checking eligibility.
Postgraduate: Requires approval from the Registrar’s Office (RO) and may include an interview session with the faculty for students from selected countries.
Once confirmed, you will receive an Eligibility Letter and a Health Declaration Form.
Step 2: Student Offer Letter
Formal Admission Requirements
Upon receiving your Eligibility Letter, you must complete these steps to proceed:
- Passport: Full colour scan of the entire booklet (including blank pages) with at least 18 months validity.
- Photos: Passport-sized colour photos (35mm x 45mm) with a white background.
- Academic Records: Certified true copies of all previous qualifications (High School, Pre-U, Degrees, etc.).
- English Proficiency: Supporting documents such as an IELTS Certificate.
- Application Fee: Proof of payment for RM500.00 (approx. USD 113.00).
- Health Form: Duly completed Health Declaration Form.
- Special Documents (if applicable): * Affidavit Letter for name discrepancies.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Sudanese, No Objection Letter (NOL) for Omani, or Letter of Eligibility (LOE) for Iranian students.
Receiving Your Offer
The Registrar’s Office (RO) will generate and email your Official Offer Letter (OL) or Conditional Offer Letter (COL).
Step 3: Visa Approval Letter (VAL)
- Perdana University’s Visa Processing Unit (VPU) will apply for your Visa Approval Letter.
- The VAL is valid for 6 months.
- Once the VAL is obtained, you must proceed with the 1st-year tuition fee payment as stated in your invoice before arrival.

University Scholarships
- General Bursary: Students are automatically considered if qualified and confirmed by the Registrar’s Office.
- Applicable for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
