Programme Overview

The Faculty of Applied Science And Technology, through its two centres for Bioinformatics and Computing, provides a nurturing environment for students to prepare themselves to enter this rapidly expanding field. The demand for skilled bioinformaticians and researchers is increasing globally at a rapid rate. Such personnel who can master the world of biology and computing will be the key drivers of the New Biology of tomorrow, which will be more data and precision-driven.

Entry Requirements

i. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 in a related field, as accepted by the PU Senate;

OR

ii. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with CGPA of less than 2.50 and a minimum of 5 years’ working experience in the related field.

English Language Requirements

International Students IELTS 6.0 (Equivalent to CEFR Mid B2)

If a student does not meet this requirement, Perdana University will offer a three-month Intensive English Preparatory program to ensure that student's proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the program.
