I chose Perdana University for its exceptional and dedicated faculty. As a 2022 MSc Public Health student, I’m deeply grateful to former Dean Prof. Dr. Jasvindar Kaur for reigniting my medical journey, and to Dr. Sutha, Dr. Nazmul, Dr. Radha, and Dr. Sarbhan Singh for their invaluable guidance that enriched my knowledge and research, now being published in the Malaysian Journal of Medicine (MJM).

Perdana University has continued to grow as a strong and independent institution, committed to excellence in education and research. I’m proud to be part of its journey and wish it continued success in advancing healthcare education.

My journey in Occupational Therapy at Perdana University was driven by a strong desire to help individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. The curriculum combined theory with clinical practice allowed me to apply evidence-based approaches during placements in hospitals and community settings.

Beyond academics, I actively participated in various extracurricular activities such as community health screening projects, volunteering at conferences and visiting diverse community centres which enhanced my leadership, communication and teamwork skills.

These opportunities equipped me with the confidence and skills to deliver client-centred care as a professional occupational therapist.

As a Sabahan, studying at Perdana University has been a truly meaningful and empowering experience. Even though I live far from campus, distance was never a limit — the programme’s flexible and supportive learning environment made it possible for me to continue growing professionally.

The lecturers were always encouraging and approachable, guiding us to think critically and apply our knowledge in practice. This journey has strengthened my confidence, inspired self-achievement, and motivated me to give back to my community in Sabah

My time at Perdana University was truly transformative. The professionalism of the entire team, from the expert lecturers to the dedicated supporting staff, created an exceptional learning environment. We were challenged by a high standard of education, which prepared us thoroughly for our careers.

Most importantly, Perdana University didn't just teach us facts; it masterfully cultivated the seed of eagerness for knowledge in every student. This instilled a lifelong passion for learning and inquiry that I carry with me to this day. I am a proud and grateful alumnus.
