Support & Guidance

At Perdana University, foster academic success and personal growth. We aim to enhance your opportunities for achievement, help you maximise your time at university, and contribute positively to the overall quality of your student experience.

The Learning Hub
Located just outside the Library, the Perdana Learning Hub offers comprehensive academic support. Whether you are transitioning into undergraduate study, navigating postgraduate coursework, or undertaking higher degree research, we are here to assist at every stage. We provide a variety of resources to help you independently sharpen your skills in: academic writing, critical thinking, research methodologies, group collaboration, examination preparation, time management, and oral presentations. In addition to digital resources, we offer face-to-face support through tailored workshops and individual consultations to meet your specific academic communication and research needs.
Student Mentorship
The International Student Mentorship Programme is a peer-led initiative where new international students are paired with experienced Perdana University students. These mentors provide invaluable advice on navigating university life and settling into the vibrant culture of Kuala Lumpur. Mentors offer social support and guidance through one-on-one meetings and informal activities—such as coffee catch-ups, games, and study sessions—throughout your first semester. By sharing their personal journeys, they help ease the transition to life in Malaysia. For our mentors, this is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and cross-cultural communication skills while gaining a global perspective within the university community.
Disability Support
Perdana University is committed to ensuring equal access to learning for all. By registering with our Inclusion and Disability Services, students with disabilities can access the specific adjustments and support required to thrive in their studies. Available adjustments may include: modified assessment and examination arrangements, alternative document formatting, timetable flexibility, access to assistive technology, lecture support, and specialised library services. Eligibility is determined on an individual basis following a review of your supporting documentation and a consultation with an Inclusion and Disability Services Officer.
Health & Wellbeing
University life can be both exciting and challenging. We offer a range of support services for all students—undergraduate, postgraduate, domestic, and international—to help you maintain your wellbeing and get the most out of your time with us. Our mission is to foster a resilient learning environment by promoting social connections and mental health literacy. We are dedicated to building a supportive, trauma-informed community that values positive mental health through high-quality internal support and collaborative partnerships with community health services.
