5th March 2025 – Bin Zayed International (M) Berhad has pledged RM4.474 million in scholarships to 11 exceptional MBBS students at Perdana University, ensuring financial challenges do not stand in the way of their dreams to become future doctors.
The event was graced by YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud, Deputy Minister of Higher Education Malaysia, and attended by distinguished guests, Her Excellency Dr. Mariyam Shabeena Ahmed, High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to Malaysia, and His Excellency Mr. B.N. Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia.

At the ceremony, YBhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. Shamir Kumar Nandy, Managing Director of Bin Zayed International (M) Berhad, emphasized that this initiative is a testament to the power of strategic partnerships in education and hopes it will inspire more philanthropic contributions to shape future generations. YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr. Suleiman bin Mohamed, Chancellor of Perdana University, highlighted that this scholarship is more than financial assistance—it is a life-changing opportunity that will not only uplift the students but also strengthen the future of healthcare in Malaysia.
