Connecting Future Perdana University OTs to the Global Community

The School of Occupational Therapy, Perdana University, participated in the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) Congress 2026, held from 9th to 12th February 2026 in Bangkok, themed “Inspiring Change, Innovating Futures.”

With 4 lecturers and 8 students across programme levels, our delegation engaged with international practitioners, academics, and researchers to exchange ideas, explore emerging trends, and strengthen global professional networks.

A proud highlight was the research presentation by Eunice Yap Shek Wen, MSc Occupational Therapy Research student on factors influencing employee innovation in healthcare administration showcasing Perdana University’s research excellence on an international platform.

The congress provided invaluable exposure to global occupational therapy developments, enriched academic perspectives, and strengthened professional growth for both students and faculty members, further elevating our presence within the international OT community.
