Programme Overview
The Master of Education (Research) programme is designed to equip future educators and professionals from various backgrounds to become managers and leaders in educational establishments. Conducted via an Open Distance Learning (ODL) blended format, this programme offers greater flexibility and access for learners nationwide, providing essential academic and research skills for substantive career advancement.
Entry Requirements
- Standard Entry: A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, as accepted by the Perdana University Senate.
- Alternative Entry (CGPA 2.50 - 2.74): Accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- Alternative Entry (CGPA below 2.50): Accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a relevant field.
English Language Requirements
Local Students: MUET Band 4
International Students: IELTS 6.0 (Equivalent to CEFR Mid B2)

All research students are required to take courses in Research Methodology before being allowed to embark on a proper research dissertation.
