Programme Overview
The Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health programme was designed to equip our future safety and health practitioners and professionals from various backgrounds to become supervisors, safety officers, assessors and monitors in the industry. This aligns with the university's mission to provide expanded opportunities for training safety and health professionals, equipping them with the necessary knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the ability to achieve their full intellectual potential while serving their workplaces with the highest professional and ethical standards. It is also to equip them to become safety and health professionals with the knowledge and skills to play an effective role at the supervisory level of an organisation.
Entry Requirements
SPM/ GCE-O Level
Pass SPM or equivalent with pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English and three credits in the following subjects :
Mathematics or one Science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science);
AND Any other TWO subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English)
OR
Certificate (Level 3, MQF) related to Health Sciences with minimum CGPA 2.5
OR
Other Certificates
Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
English Language Requirements
MUET: Minimum Band 3 OR equivalent to CEFR (High B1) — required for international students.
