Research Project: Multi-site HPV Vaccine Acceptability Study
Multi-site HPV Vaccine Acceptability Study
The HPV Vaccine Acceptability Study is a multi-site study funded by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) which involves 5 countries (Malaysia, South Korea, Spain, Argentina and South Africa) in collaboration with the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health, US.
The study examines behavioural, structural and cultural factors related to HPV vaccination and acceptability from the perspectives of mothers and health care providers (general practitioners). Qualitative data will be collected through focus group discussions with mothers of 13-14 year old daughters; semi qualitative and quantitative data will be collected through interviews with health care providers.
