English Language Requirement MUET: minimum score of Band 4

IELTS: minimum score of 6.5 with no individual section lower than 6

TOEFL iBT: minimum sub-scores of 26 (Reading), 26 (Listening), 22 (Writing), and 25 (Speaking)

Other equivalent qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.

All applicants must attain a minimum of the following at School Certificate level or its equivalent:

SPM / O Level 5 Bs each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (or Additional Mathematics) and another subject

PURCSI School of Medicine runs a five year undergraduate medical programme. The curriculum is divided into three cycles; Junior Cycle (JC), Intermediate Cycle (IC) and Senior Cycle (SC).

The RCSI Medical Graduate Profile (MGP) is a list of the ‘exit’ outcomes that represents a shared understanding of knowledge, attitudes and skills that PURCSI medical graduates will possess on exit from the undergraduate medical program (to view the MGP please click here). These outcomes are grouped into five ‘level 1 ‘themes’ which are ‘inter-woven’ throughout the course. These themes are:

Each of these themes is broken down into a number of level 2 outcomes which are in turn further broken down into a number of level 3 outcomes. Each level 3 outcome links to one or more module outcomes (level 4) in the taught curriculum which in turn link to multiple activity outcomes (level 5).
