The Perdana University Graduate School of Medicine Mission

The mission of the Perdana University Graduate School of Medicine (PUGSOM) is to prepare physicians to practice compassionate clinical medicine of the highest standard and to identify and solve fundamental questions in the mechanisms, prevention and treatment of disease, in health care delivery and in the basic sciences. Our innovative curriculum aims to produce leaders in medicine who will take the foundation of a broad education in the field to improve health, with a focus on South East Asia, through patient care, research and education.

Perdana University Graduate School of Medicine will leverage the innovations, research and technology of the Johns Hopkins model of medical education, research and clinical care to bring the latest advances in medical education and health care to Malaysia. Our vision for medical education is a center of excellence based on a graduate level approach that is seamlessly integrated with a teaching hospital and biomedical research.
